People need People
At this time we are seeking new ideas and ways of collaborating together. Looking for emergent ideas that share communities values, we turn to the people of these communities and their relationships - not ‘experts’. Working in groups online across, often internationally, we explore areas of mutual learning and emergent ways of being.
The practice is a Warm Data Lab-based project coordinated by the International Bateson Institute - a social-benefit thinking group inspired by Batesonian concepts, the IBI furthers the research on transcontextuatlity and how interactions in complex, living systems can be understood and positively influenced. People need People is built on the work of Nora Bateson and her father Gregory Bateson.
As a certified Warm Data Lab host, one of 300 internationally, Simon works with intergenerational projects to “support communities to recognise and attend to the interdependence of their well-being and to produce collaborative systemic responses to local and global needs” (see People Need People website for full description)
